Simple Ingredients Needed:

Cream Cheese: when choosing the cream cheese it is best to go with full fat. You will also need to have it at room temp before making the dip as it mixes better.

Sour Cream: sour cream helps to smooth out the cream cheese and adds just that touch of sourness that works well with dips. This too should be full fat.

Dill Pickles: any dill pickles will work. Just be sure to read the labels as some do try and sneak in sugar into their pickles.

Dried Dill Weed: if you have fresh and not dried it will also work.

Garlic Powder: be sure you get garlic powder and not garlic salt.

Pickle Juice: the juice from the jar of pickles works just fine. No need to buy the jars that are just pickle juice.

Optional Worcestershire Sauce: this one is optional but does really add to the flavor of the dip. Just know that if you do choose to add Worcestershire sauce, it will slightly raise the carb count of the dip.

How To Make Low-Carb Pickle Dip:

  1. Add all ingredients, except the pickles and pickle juice, to a medium-sized bowl and mix
    well.
  2. Stir in chopped pickles to the mix.
  3. Slowly add pickle juice to the mixture until the desired thickness is achieved.
  4. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Serving Ideas & Variations:

Not sure what to serve with this keto pickle dip? Here are a few choices we like to use.

When it comes to variations of this deep, the options are endless. You could add some shredded cheese to make it a pickle and cheese dip. Great options for that would be cheddar, mozzarella, pepper jack, and so on.

We also listed Worcestershire sauce as an optional ingredient. If you are following a low-carb keto diet that allows you to have it as it does add a very slight amount of sugar, it makes the flavor of this dip pop.

Vegan option: Dairy-free cream cheese and sour cream can be used to make the pickle dip vegan.
